Spring is just around the corner!

Summer time is coming within two weeks in UK, while Shunbun no Hi which literally means spring day is coming this Saturday in Japan. It's a vernal equinox day,when the sun crosses the equator so night and day are of equal length.  It's one of a Japanese national holiday and in the middle of Ohigan when people pray for ancestors.  The celebration of Ohigan is also along with the change of the seasons.  
According to tradition, people eats Botamochi (sweet rice balls covered with red bean paste).  Feel the coming of spring with Japanese confectionery!
